Over the last few weeks, we have seen a massive surge in enquiries regarding the Green Homes Voucher Incentive. Although we were prepared for an up-take in enquiries, we did not expect the sort of volumes we have seen over the 2 weeks since the incentive has been launched. We have now cleared the backlog of enquiries and are responding to customers within 2 – 5 days of their initial enquiry.
To speed up the enquiry process, we have put together a short form that enables us to capture crucial information regarding your home and specifications. It also provides a bit of a reality check, so you can truly understand the requirements and indeed returns of an installation.
Over the next few weeks, we will be putting together a series of helpful videos that explain a little bit about each renewable technology on offer and how they can help reduce your annual heating bill and most importantly, your carbon footprint.
Here at Renuvo, we are one of a handful of Trust Mark renewable energy installers who are accredited under the micro-generation certification scheme (MCS) to provide industry compliant renewable energy heating and power generation services.
What is the Green Homes Incentive?
The Green Homes Grant gives homeowners and landlords vouchers to install:
- – Solid wall, cavity wall, floor or roof insulation
- – Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) or Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP)
- – Solar thermal
It is recommended to check your eligibility before applying, which you can do on the
Simple Energy Advice (SEA) service. This takes as little as five minutes to complete.
You must make sure your scheduled work is completed, and the voucher redeemed subject to its terms and conditions, by 31 March 2021.

I would like information on the suitability of my house for an air pump supplied via the green deal, scheme. We have an lpg combi boiler as the main heating source with a log burner in the living room acting as a top up supply of heat. The property has loft insulation, double glazing and is about to be fitted with cavity wall insulation under the green scheme. My son has D L A entitlement and so we have the full 10 K allocation of funding. Would the air pump replace the lpg boiler completely or work with it ?My address is Tanglewood the gardens elford B799DD and can be contacted on 01827 383815. Thank you.
